What is Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Christ-centered recovery program where God heals those that are healing from a hurt, habit, or hang-up. Celebrate Recovery reaches out to those who suffer from mental health issues, sex addictions, gambling, co-dependency, self-injury, anger, anxiety, abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual), eating disorders, or a mixture of issues.
Trained leaders provide a safe, confidential, and welcoming place where people come together to celebrate our strengths and hopes without judgement! We want to provide a refuge where we can accept personal responsibility, learning by utilizing the biblical truth, and grow spiritually and emotionally while demonstrating genuine love.
The 12-Steps
- We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.
- We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
- We made a decision to turn our lives and our will over to the care of God.
- We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
- We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
- We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
- We humbly asked him to remove all our short-comings.
- We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.
- We made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
- We continue to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
- We sought through prayer and meditation to im-prove our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us, and power to carry that out.
- Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change
the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time, Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as Jesus did, the sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your Will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You Forever in the next. AMEN
