Small Sprouts Preschool

We are a safe place designed to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social/emotional, and physical needs of children, while keeping Jesus at the center of all we do.
Small Sprouts Preschool was established as an outreach to families where Christ is honored and a connecting point for families where Christ is not yet known. We embrace the Biblical teaching that parents are their children’s primary instructors. We desire to support each home represented in our preschool by partnering together to provide quality Christ-centered early education program. Small Sprouts is an integral part of the ministry of Bethel Church. The preschool staff serves an expression of their love for Jesus Christ. We aim to assist families in helping their children come to know that Jesus loves them and desires to be their personal Savior and friend. Additionally, it is the goal of the preschool to provide a safe, nurturing environment that is conducive to the needs of the total child.
The aim of Small Sprouts is to supplement the home in providing experiences that promote the spiritual, intellectual, social/emotional, and physical development of the young child. It is the philosophy of Small Sprouts that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Our goal is to be a place where children can experience childhood as it was meant to be. It is the combination of playmates, creative experiences, a Christian atmosphere, and warm, competent teachers which make pre-kindergarten a valuable experience. It is also our belief that our preschool program should consist of positive and purposeful strategies designed to help children meet their individual goals. We take our responsibility seriously. Therefore, developmentally appropriate child-centered activities, where children can be active participants in the learning process, are at the core of our curriculum. This, paired with teacher-directed learning activities, ensure optimal learning and success. It is our sincere desire at Small Sprouts Preschool that the home-school relationship be strong. Therefore, we encourage parents to participate in opportunities available to them, which will be announced in the monthly newsletters and at conferences.
We believe that giving children a consistent daily routine allows them to feel secure and develop a sense of time. A routine allows them to be more responsible, independent, and confident. Each class at Small Sprouts will have a consistent daily routine that will be adapted to fit the interests, goals, and needs of the children.
The daily schedule will include:
*Circle Time
*Bible Story Time
*Small Groups
*Free Choice
*Large Motor (gym activities)
*Story time
*Clean up & Wash hands
*Snack Time
